The advance of the Pokémon on the Game Boy, now rules the handheld gaming industry

Some of the most popular games for the Game Boy Advance have to be the games that are part of the Pokémon series.

Although originally started as a manga by Satoshi Tajiri in 1975 that was titled Capsule Monsters. The series was discontinued due to the loss, but around 1991, Tajiri began to launch the project for the nintendo Game Boy without much success. The game was finally collected by Nintendo with the help of a new friend of Tajiri, Shigeru Miyamoto, and was initially launched in Japan as Pocket Monsters in 1996. Since then, the phenomenon we know today Pokemon has soared worldwide, drawing for children and adults alike.

The premise of the series is similar to children catching fireflies in a bottle, but the fireflies are instead little monsters and train them to fight each other in competitions. Pokemon trade with other players of the series is to promote and a of the most enjoyable aspects of the game along with the fight with your friends and the team alike. Test your skills as a coach and as a sport is just one of the main attractions the series.

The series has had a number of different titles in it for the Game Boy, Game Boy Color, Nintendo 64, Game Boy Advance, Nintendo GameCube and DS. Most games have a suffix of one color, precious metals or precious gems, such as red, green, blue and yellow for the Game Boy.

Later, Gold and Silver were developed for the Game Boy Color.

The third generation of games have come in the form of Ruby, Sapphire. These games introduced a number of new features including more detailed weather conditions, the new villains of Team Magma and Team Aqua, contests, and new abilities for each pokemon. Also introduced the concept of nature for everyone. Soon after, Emerald was released, which introduced the possibility of rebattle gym leaders, events for all pokemon (As in Crystal).

Then the first two games in the first generation, Red and Green, was remade as FireRed and LeafGreen for Game Boy Advance. The main features improved graphics, gameplay, and a new area called Sevii Islands.

The fourth generation of games consists of Diamond and Pearl which have already been the subject of a worldwide launch in 2007. One of the notable additions to both of these games is the difference between the sexes Pokemon.

Although the games with Pokemon are the same name on all Nintendo systems, the classics will always be in the Game Boy, Game Boy Color and Game Boy Advance.
