• The power button, originally located on the D-pad, is now a power slider and moves to the right side of the device.
• The power and charging indicator lights are now on the right hinge, instead of being below the bottom screen in the original model.
• The new smaller design System Game Boy Advance has led to stand outside the system for 1 cm. In addition to providing a seamless surface and to prevent dirt and dust from collecting, a refill cartridge is included.
• The processors are the same as the DS, but done on a smaller custom process so they require much less energy.
• A microphone is built in that allows a player to interact with some of the games.
• A touch screen that will allow dual the person has direct involvement in some of the games. These are also ultra-bright screens with impressive 3D rendered graphics
